America has always been strongest when we invest in what moves us forward. Today, our scientists, engineers, and innovators are on the verge of discoveries that will define the next decade. Next-generation energy. Advanced manufacturing. Cures for Alzheimer’s and cancer.
This is how America leads — strengthening our economy, securing our future, and reinforcing our place in the world.
Scientific research is our greatest national advantage.
Our leaders in Congress recognize this — and on a bipartisan basis have already approved critical investments in research and innovation through the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and elsewhere. Now, we must follow through and accelerate the release of that funding to researchers all across America.
We stand on the cusp of the next great American era. American science will lead us there.
