Join the BIOPC Educators Association of the North County in supporting our Payomkawichum students, families, and mentors.
The Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District is stifling Indigenous students’ access to valuable resources such as: after-school programs, clubs, history, story-telling, art programs, mentor support, etc.
These programs are proven to build confidence, grounding, and healthy development in a historically, systemically traumatized community. Show the Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District they cannot continue stifling and isolating student voices.
The district needs to set a precise date for when Rincon Indian Education Center can return to campus. Public comment at their next meeting!
