On May 9, 2026, another Mother’s Day celebration was held at the Barrio Logan Athenaeum Art Center. The community, which included families, artists, and more, enjoyed activities, which included face painting, print artwork, and collages. We were delighted with the staff and participants sharing and expressing themselves. We even had yummy tamales prepared by Isa’s Tamales, which tasted just like mom’s.
