In July, the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) met to discuss the status of the charter schools project. The Measure U allocation is prepared to implement needed security, restoration and new buildings. San Diego’s low income, foster students and disadvantaged youth will benefit from this. The $96 million budget will cover several campuses in San Diego, including the Albert Einstein Academy, the Museum School, Learning Choice, Kavod, the O’Farrell Charter and the King Chavez Academy. The community has asked for leadership and expertise in this project to be honored. The programs educate and empower future leadership. For more information about these needed programs, check out SDCOE.
