The San Luis Rey Band of Mission Indians was honored to receive a proclamation from the City of Oceanside recognizing November as National Native American Heritage Month.
We are grateful for this recognition and the opportunity to honor our ancestors, celebrate our culture, and continue sharing our history with future generations.
Thank you to the City of Oceanside for acknowledging the original people of this land and our continued presence in the community.
