If the past year has taught me anything, it’s that creativity doesn’t believe in retirement, schedules — or asking permission!
Over the past year, I’ve continued wearing many hats: photographer, visual artist, writer, actor, and creative explorer. My camera has taken me into fascinating rooms and events, while my curiosity keeps pushing me toward new experiences.
Photography remains the heart of my creative life. I continue capturing artists, performers, cultural events and community gatherings, looking beyond the obvious moment to find the story inside the photograph. For me, a great image should have personality, energy, and a little magic.
But for the past two years, I’ve also enjoyed being in front of the camera. My acting journey continues to grow with appearances in television and film, including HBO’s The Rehearsal, where I appeared in three episodes, and the film Ten Will. I’ve also participated in performance and improvisational projects, giving me another opportunity to explore storytelling from the actor’s perspective.
And yes — I’m SAG-AFTRA eligible, which feels like a pretty good reward for all those auditions, rehearsals, lines, and moments of wondering, “What exactly did I just agree to?”
I’ve also been exploring artificial intelligence, including AI performance and improvisation. I see technology as another tool for artists — not a replacement for imagination.
Through it all, I remain curious, creative and open to what comes next. So, what have I been doing?
Photographing. Acting. Writing. Performing. Learning. Exploring. And apparently, refusing to sit still. At this stage of my life, I’m not slowing down. I’m just getting started.
