Here’s a brief overview of the areas where your skills could make a significant impact:
•Resettlement Program: Assist newcomers in navigating the complexities of settling in the San Diego area, helping them understand and complete necessary steps to restart their lives.
•Community Engagement: Help organize events, coordinate with local partners, and facilitate public education initiatives to raise awareness about refugee issues.
•Education and Language Support: Provide English language tutoring or assist in cultural orientation classes for our clients.
•Employment Services: Support job readiness programs, resume writing workshops, and help connect clients with potential employers.
•Administrative Support: Assist with data entry, document management, and general office tasks to keep our operations running smoothly.
Your involvement in any of these areas would be invaluable in supporting our mission to help refugees and immigrants achieve self-sufficiency and integration in their new communities.
Volunteer opportunities are flexible, and your commitment can range from a few hours to regular involvement, depending on your availability.
