Friday July 5th the Fifth Sun Project and 38 Roses hosted its first of many to come, traditional beading workshop.  The event was held on Sahara street in Las Vegas. “Beadwork symbolizes resilience and cultural value of indigeneity throughout colonialism.” Many were in attendance. Moapa Paiutes, native Hawaiians, urban natives (inter-tribal) and of course Indian Voices new Tribal Coordinator Yvonne Wolf. Indian Voices was honored to attend the event and will keep you posted on upcoming workshops with 38 Roses and the Fifth Sun Project.
