FNX- get the First Nations's eXperience, from a newly established channel available on Roku Fire-Tv. A channel that has been called the “Native Netflix”. “A big accomplishment for Indian country”, not just in the United States but in Canada and world wide through the FNX app.
The article picture above is Director/ Producer Frank Banquet, mixing in with the native population of urban Indian Country. Marketing the FNX Channel and brand, at the Reservation Summit Event in Las Vegas, NV. An event that includes Native business owners, entertainers, jewelers, clothing designers, tribal entities and artists.
I find that some “Native Americans”, don't like the term " Indian". In some points, it's agreed, but in other lineages it's who we are, a family of Indians.
The event, Reservation Summit 2025, “Beyond Boundaries”, took place at Caesars Palace, in Las Vegas, Nv. The summit, coasted through, March eleventh - to the thirteenth, twenty- twenty fifth. There were many participants from many tribes throughout the United States and Canada. Ray Champ, who is the IFNR announcer and a member of the Crow Nation. Djtribal touch, from Arizona, who DJ'd the fashion show event.
It was a blessing to meet our ba:ja from Canada and to meet up with David Montiel, from Salt River, Yuman family. Then James De La Rosa from the Gila River Indian reservation, Lone Butte Project. However, down the corner was the Yaqui tribe, located in the Tucson, Arizona area, with front man. For Sacred Path, Robert Rodriguez holding things down.
Supa- Man (Chris Parrish), a rap artist, of the Native American music platform. Angela Howe, a Native, clothing designer and creator of Choke Cherry brand, of the Crow Agency, Montana. Were a part of the vending exchange at “Res2025”.
“Taboo Nawasha (Jaime Luis Gomez), is a Native American rap artist and is of the Hopi and Shoshone tribes. Taboo, is a singer, a songwriter, actor, DJ, and a comic book writer. Prominently known, as a member of the musical group “Black Eyed Peas“. Nawasha, attended the “Res2025” summit event.
In Indian country we all know the term "being on Indian time” , as the participants of the FNX panel got comfortable for the group session featuring participant Lynn Valbuena (Serrano) , a San Manuel Representative.
FNX, is partnered with the San Manuel Indian Tribe. The San Manuel college is the home of the First Nations's eXperience channel.

Introducing, Sahar Khadjenoury (Navajo), an Emmy Winning Producer and Director, of FNX TV. Ruth-Ann Thorn (Luiseño), who is a host, producer for “This Is Indian Country”, a Television Series available now on FNX -TV. Pete Sands (Diné), Filmmaker and Creator of the Children’s Puppet series “Navajo Highways” .
Jay Spaan is of the Cherokee Nation and is an Executive Director for the Self-Governance Communication Education Tribal Consortium (SGCETC). Introducing Goldie Tom (Diné) who is an award Winning Filmmaker for the short film “Cleaning’s A Cakewalk”.
The closing for the FNX platform panel was from Clarence Gonzales , a Hualapai Tribal member. Who ventured into journalism and film. He is one of the Filmmakers for “Family of Indians", with Veronica Wood who could not attend the summit. Veronica is a young and upcoming cinephotogher, of her film company called Light and Noise .
The project will be available exclusively on the FNX App in April twenty- five. (FNX: A New Native & Indigenous Streaming App with Video-On-Demand and Live Content). As Native Americans, we are the MOUNTAIN PEOPLE, in this day. We are a mix of the Pai, Aztec-Mayan, cultures. Plus, whatever other Indigenous, tribal lineages, bloodlines of our continent and the world. I always say “Ame” (Mountain) and the rican, is Aztec-Mayan, Spanish. Keep dancing, keep blessing, keep teaching, keep speaking your indigenous language. Creation was always in fours.
