On February 28, San Diego reflected on the powerful influence of the Civil Rights leader Bayard Rustin. Rustin championed civil rights and personal liberties. Rustin’s contributions to America include promoting nonviolence and supporting education and employment. Rustin was celebrated by our mayor Todd Gloria at the City Hall Event.
